The women’s World Cup may be in full swing the other side of the English Channel but last Wednesday saw a fantastic inter-house event take place right here at Green Lane – the LKS2 girls football competition!

The enthusiasm and energy was incredible – Mr Wales was very impressed with the performances the girls put in for their houses. Some fantastic football was played in what was a very close competition. The results were as follows:

 1st – Sherwood (26 points)

2nd – New House (17 points)

3rd – Dean House (14 points)

4th – Dalby House (10 points)

 Well done to all those who took part in such a well spirited event!
