On Tuesday five children from Green Lane took part in the Garforth Schools KS1 multi-skills event. It was held at East Garforth and involved the children trying a range of activities which required them to jump, run, throw and demonstrate co-ordination skills. Every child gave 100 per cent in every activity and they were a real credit to Green Lane. Lots of talent was on show as the children faced the challenges with great effort and determination. Here is what some of them said:
Anthony W – “It was good and I enjoyed the rolling thing with handles.” (New Aged Kurling)
Nela – ” I enjoyed the jumping.”
Harrison E – “I liked all of it.”
Esmae H – “jumping.”
Annie B – “I really liked it!”
